Unified inbox

Work across up to five Gmail accounts in one view, or focus on one at a time.

If you have more than one Gmail account, Fluxmail consolidates all of your emails in one place. Connect up to five accounts and read them all in a single view, or select a specific account when you want to focus.

Adding accounts

Open the account dropdown in the sidebar, choose Add Gmail account, and sign in. Do that for each account, up to five. Connect your Gmail has the sign-in details.

Unified vs. single-account view

The account dropdown lists All accounts along with each one you've connected.

  • All accounts (unified) merges every inbox into one unified inbox. Priority, newsletters, and search all work across the whole set.
  • A single account narrows everything to just that mailbox.

Switching is instant and only changes what you're looking at. Your accounts stay separate underneath.

How actions stay correct

Each account syncs and stores its mail on its own, so an action always runs against the right Gmail credentials. When you act on a thread in the unified view, Fluxmail figures out which account it came from.

Rules across accounts

A rule can target one account or all of them. An all-accounts rule applies everywhere and creates any labels it needs per account as it goes.

Good to know

  • One account is your primary account, marked Primary in the account dropdown under Manage accounts.
  • You can disconnect any account except your primary one from Manage accounts.
