Flux AI can do the writing with you. It drafts replies in your voice, writes a new email from a short description, and rewrites text you already have. Everything it produces lands in the composer for you to review, and nothing is ever sent on its own.
Reply suggestions
When you reply to a message in Home, Flux AI drafts a few reply options for you in the background. They show up as pills above the composer, each with a short label for its angle. Click one to drop it into your reply, or just start typing your own and the suggestions step aside.
The suggestions are written in your voice from the whole conversation, so they're a starting point you can send as-is or edit.
Draft with AI
In the composer toolbar, the Draft with AI button (the sparkles icon) writes an email from a short description. Click it, type what you want to say, and Flux AI drops a draft into the editor. It works for new emails, replies, and forwards, pulls in the conversation for context on replies, and adapts the tone to whoever's in the To field.
Rewrite
Already have some text? Select it and a small menu appears with quick rewrites:
- Fix spelling & grammar
- Make shorter
- Make longer
- Make professional
- Make friendly
You can also type your own instruction for a custom rewrite. Flux AI shows the result so you can Accept, Discard, or Try again before anything changes.
Your writing style
So the drafts actually sound like you, Flux AI learns your style from your sent mail. It samples your recent sent messages to pick up your tone and habits, adapts to who you're writing to, and never stores the message contents.
This runs once per account after you connect, and you can re-run it anytime under Settings → AI Drafting. That's also where you can read and hand-edit your drafting instructions. Re-analyzing replaces the guide, so any manual edits are overwritten.
