Some emails aren't a quick reply; they're something you have to do later. Tasks let you capture that work and keep it tied to the message it came from, so it doesn't slip.
The Tasks tab
The Tasks tab in the sidebar is home base for everything on your plate. Each task shows its due date and a link back to the email it came from, so you can jump to the original thread in a click. Check a task off when you've finished it, and set or change due dates as plans shift.
Creating a task
The quickest way is straight from an email in Home: open a card's menu, choose Add task, and give it an optional due date. The email gets linked to the task.
You can also add tasks on the Tasks page, or ask Flux AI to create a task.
Due dates and reminders
Set a due date and Fluxmail sends you a push notification when the time comes, so you're not constantly checking. Each date nudges you once. Change the due date and the reminder resets to the new time.
For those nudges to land, allow notifications when Fluxmail asks. Keeping the app installed as a PWA helps too.
